All About

Established in 2015, Dance Party for Parkinson’s, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that raises money to help those living with Parkinson’s disease. Founded by Dr. Beth Hochstein after a devastating diagnosis at 37 of Young-onset Parkinson’s disease, Beth began gravitating toward dance to cope with her diagnosis after a recommendation from her doctor. Her passion for dance and for helping others with Parkinson’s inspired her to organize her first dance fundraiser, which raised $42,000 for Parkinson’s research. Beth continues to fundraise and offers the largest free dance program on Long Island serving Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens counties for people living with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers.
